BMB con. (Collaborative Experiences with Sound, Image and Space) was founded by Justin Bennett, Roelf Toxopeus and Wikke ’t Hooft in 1989. So actually they celebrate their 20th anniversary right now. Since 2006 BMB con. is a collaboration between a BMB coreduo and different individuals and groups, depending on the occasion.
Topics include collaboration, innovation, improvisation, accidental incidents and the nature of unpredictability in artistic creation. Right at this moment Justin Bennett's work, but also the work of BMB con. is being showed in the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. (31 oktober 2009 t/m 28 februari 2010, http://www.gemeentemuseum.nl).
Bennett's work has been recently rewarded by giving him the Ouborg Prijs 2009.
