MELTED MEN represent the explicit performative, ritualistic and non theoretical part of DE PLAYER as a mental space. They are known for their exclusive gigs of totalitary performance without compromise. Their sound as well as their visual aspects and costumes are based on cacaphonic electronics and quasi etno acoustics. Rituals and psychoses are the leading entities in their oeuvre. For 8-INCH #1 they made SPITCUP; a handmade chewingtabacco cover with sparkles and collage at the back. Inside sound on a square 8" lathe cut plus photo and poster. The guiding text "The Strange Territory of the Body" is made by Bart Plantenga and tells us about extreme bodyculture and how entertainment took over.
